'Time - Folding' 시리즈는 아날로그(Analog Synth),디지털사운드(Computer real time processing)와 어쿠스틱 악기의 세가지 다른 소리의 요소를 사용한 라이브 연주들이다. Time-Folding 이라는 타이틀은, 작가가 특정한 작품 컨셉을 최대한 배재하며, 연주하는 순간 최대한 시간과 소리의 재료자체에 몰입하는 행위 자체를 일컬으며 V.3 는 꽹과리를 사용한 버전이다. 작품은 2015년 2월 7일 연주된 음원이다.
‘Time-Folding’ is a series of live performances that is aimed at combining three different sound sources: Analog(Analog synths), Digital(Computer realtime processing) and Acoustic (Instruments or objects). The Title ‘Time-Folding’ refers to the act and moment of performing, only focusing on the materials - sounds- themselves without a specific concept for each piece. V.3 includes 'kkwaenggwari,' one of the Korean traditional small gong.

강지연 작가의 "Time-Folding"은 시간과 순간에 관한 연구이다. 음악은 시간 예술임에, 악보에 펼치기 어려운 시간들까지 표현하고자 강작가는 집중한다.
어떻게 보면 본능적이고 즉흥적으로 느껴질 수 있는 강작가의 여러 작업들은 결과적으로 즐기는 음악을 추구하는 그녀의 의도에서 비롯된다. 소리 그리고 무엇보다 선형적인 흐름에 중심을 둔다는 강지연 작가의 음악을 직접 경험해보길, 이해보다는 경험을 바라는 작가의 마음을 읽으며.
